Fox Downhill fork

Exciting news from Fox Racing Shox with the reealse of their eagerly awaited downhill fork. Their short travel single crown forks are regarded by many top riders as the best on the market, so the introduction of an 8" travel fork is exciting news for most people. The forks first debuted was at the Big Bear NORBA and appeared on the team bikes of Yeti, Luna Chix, Specialized and some specially selected riders.

So what do we know about them? Well we know that Fox wanted to make a very strong and lightweight fork that had great performance and took the pressure. The Thing that sticks out for most is the oversized 40mm uppertubes and light blue lower legs. Inside ther is a nice little Internal Spacer System that allows the fork to be ajusted between 8 to 6.5 inches. As most know Fox fork internals are of the highest quality and from what I have read the DH fork will be no different, with internal coil/oil spring/damper system linked to externally ajustable rebound and compression damping. With the esentials(Disc brake mounts, a wide turning lock and 20mm axel) not forgotten about.

They arent goimg to be il the shops till Autumn and as for the price its gona be about 900. For more info and to find out about availability give the guys at Mojo a call on 01633 815 815.
